Patient resilience and quality of life in head and neck cancer

Updated: May 6, 2022

We explored the relationship between patient resilience and quality of life (QoL) and found interesting trends towards an improved QoL score when compared to patient resilience scores.

Resilience seems to be a hot topic in the medical community and we jumped on this idea quickly to reveal important insights into the nature of resilience and how this affects our cancer patients. The results show that patients with higher resilience scores tend to have increased quality of life scores in multiple domains.

This is the first paper describing the relationship between resilience and QoL scores in head and neck cancer patients following treatment
